Charles Nodier, cet intrépide collecteur de curiosités bibliographiques croyait avoir réuni une belle phalange d'ouvrages en ce genre car dans la description raisonnée de sa biblio thèque, vendue en 1844 il dit, à la page 120 Ma collection laisse à désirer sans doute quatre ou cinq articles fort piquants; mais elle est, jusqu'à nouvel ordre, la plus riche que l'on ait vue dans les catalogues.
