Excerpt from Ramayana, Vol. 2: Poema Sanscrito
Nel pubblicare il testo sanscrito del Ramayana ho delineato a mano a mano nelle prefazioni un sunto intiero di questa epopea. Era utile il farlo, a¿ìnchè meglio si potesse comprendere ristretto in piccol quadro ampio tema di questa Vastissima composizione. Ma perocche non tutti coloro alle cui mani potrà venire la traduzione del Ramayana, leggeranno parimente il testo sanscrito e le prefa zioni che vi si riferiscono, ho giudicato Opportuno il pubblicare qui raccolto e continuato il sunto dell' epopea che si trova disperso in più volumi del testo.
