This book deals with the question 'How do children react to characters in the fantasy story Peter Pan?'. Moreover, it focuses on the use of stories and tales in foreign language learning. After taking a closer look at the fantasy story Peter Pan and the origins of the fantasy genre in general, this work will deal with an English project in a primary school in the Netherlands. The main focus of this project lies on the implementation of a fairy tale as a language learning tool.

About the author










Sandra Schüttbacher was born in Bruck / Mur. As the only child of the family her dearest friends soon became tales and fantastic stories. At the tender age of 5 she already knew where her path would lead - teaching. Her passion has always been working with children. Shaping the future and imparting values has been her major goal.
