Nous nous sommes fait un pieux devoir de respecter scrupuleusement la forme donnée par l'auteur au dernier ouvrage sorti de sa plume, à le laisser tel que l'académie l'a couronné. Dans le but d'en augmenter l'utilité et de rendre les recherches plus faciles, nous avons ajouté au premier volume un Index bibliographique comprenant tous les travaux de nous connus, auxquels l'extradition a donné lieu jusqu'à ce jour; au second, un tableau des diffé rents traités internationaux actuellement en vigueur.
