Neè ammirevole l'idea dello aggiustamento ri svegliata dalle variate loro proporzioni, come commendevole ne è stata pure la scelta, ove si ponga mente che le colonne con le in portanti iscrizioni furono gia edite e dal sommo Visconti ampiamente illustrate che l'orologio Beroso venne pubblicato dagli ac cademici Ercolanesi Quaranta Minervini Finati e Fiorelli e che dal chiarissimo A vellino fu reso di ragion pubblica il basso rilievo sculto sul sarcofago di Mileto.
