Ricorrendo, in questo anno, il quarto centenario della scoperta del nuovo mondo fatta dal grande uomo, in Genova, sua patria, si e stabilito celebrarlo con grandi feste; ed aven domi il chiarissimo signor Professore Conte Angelo De Gubernatis richiesto di uno scritto in lingua giapponese, per tale occasione, io, per corrispondere a questa cortese domanda, ho qui esposto il mio modesto pensiero.
