About the author

Scott Mankowitz is board-certified in emergency medicine and clinical informatics. He has 9 years of ED director experience and has been involved in hospital and group-practice information systems since then, having developed information systems to support clinical practice. He has written board questions for both AMIA and to the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
