The
Pequeño Diccionario de las Palabras del Nuevo Testamento is a concise dictionary of selected words and all names of persons and places found in the New Testament. It comprises approximately 2,400 entries which include more than 3,000 definitions of English words and 2,600 definitions of Greek words. This work is a translation and an adaptation in Spanish of a book published by the same author.
About the author
Richard Pigeon has been active for more than 35 years in the life of his local church in Canada, teaching the Word of God. Richard and his wife Géraldine have hosted young people meetings in their home and participated in home Bible studies. He has written articles for Christian magazines and been the founder and co-editor of
L'Étoile du Matin, participated to Christian conferences, and made presentations in Canada and abroad.
Richard and his wife have been married since 1972; they have three married sons, and eight grandchildren. Richard has a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Ottawa. He has spent his professional career in the fields of teaching and adult learning and development.
As a tentmaker, he has authored a dictionary in French of about 1,000 New Testament words and commentaries in French on the epistles to the Thessalonians (also translated in Italian). He is the author of the comprehensive
Dictionnaire du Nouveau Testament published by Éditions Bibles et Publications Chrétiennes (2008) and the
AMG's Comprehensive Dictionary of New Testament Words (2014).

A lo largo? de su carrera profesional, ha trabajado en el ámbito de la enseñanza como también de la formación y del desarrollo de adultos. Sin embargo, en el transcurso de las cuatro últimas décadas, ha consagrado una parte importante de su tiempo libre a enseñar la Palabra de Dios en su iglesia local, en los encuentros de estudios bíblicos en los hogares, con jóvenes y durante conferencias bíblicas. Su
Dictionnaire du Nouveau Testament ha sido publicado en Francia por Éditions Bibles et Publications Chrétiennes en 2008. Ha traducido y adaptado esta obra en lengua inglesa bajo el título
AMG's Comprehensive Dictionary of New Testament Words (2014).
