Riunisco in questo fascicolo i risultati di una revisione dei generi Statilz'a, Mantis, Tarachomantz's, Tenodera, Meso pteryoe, Pseudomantis, Hierodulella, Ephz'erodula, Hz'erodula, Parhz'erodula, Sphodromantz's e Arohz'mantz's che hanno fra loro una stretta affinità. Pur troppo per mancanza di ma teriale, per quanto esso sia già. Stato assai abbondante, non ho potuto risolvere definitivamente alcune questioni. Così, per esempio, del gen. Pseudomantz's non mi è stato possibile rinvenire che una sola specie in tutte le colle zioni avute in istudio.
