Die ganze Reisebeschreibung besteht daher aus 49 Briefen nebst einem Anhänge, gerichtet an Mein lieber Hamlen und unterzeichnet mit W. B. Die Einleitung zu diesem Reisewerke, pag. III - XV, ist mit George Dixon, also vom Kapitän selbst, unterzeichnet. Am Schluß der Einleitung, pag. 15, schreibt Dixon im letzten Absatze.
