Pour mener à bien ce travail, je ne pouvais me contenter des descrip tions détaillées publiées jusqu'alors en effet, ces dernières se basent le plus souvent sur l'aspect extérieur; cet aspect, comme je crois l'avoir démontré (lemoine, est très variable et rarement caractéristique. Seule la connaissance de la structure anatomique permet d'arriver à une détermination précise.
