Einleitung: In der vorliegenden Arbeit will ich eingehender die anatomischen und histologischen Verhältnisse der Borstenfollikel sowie den Ersatz der Borsten beim Lumbricus beschreiben. Das Thema wurde mir von Herrn Prof. Dr. B. Hatschek auf den Vorschlag des Herrn Assistenten am II. Zoologischen Institute, des a. 6. Prof. Dr. K. C. Schneider gegeben und infolgedessen wurde mir auch ein Arbeitsplatz im II. Zoologischen Institute zu gewiesen.
