About the author
Luise Roberts was taught to knit, sew and crochet at an early age by her German mother. She specialized professionally in graphic design and then book design and also continued to work with textiles in her spare time, exhibiting as an embroiderer, before turning her attention back to knitting and crochet. Luise has written several books and contributed to books and magazines with the aim of making techniques more accessible.
