Anatol Lyadov (1855-1914) was a Russian composer, conductor, teacher, and collector and arranger of folksongs. Although he wrote few large-scale works, he did compose numerous piano miniatures which abound in lyrical charm. Eighteen of these are collected in this album to provide varied moderate to difficult repertoire for the pianist.
