About the author

Linda Stratmann has long had an interest in true crime and has acquired a substantial collection of books on the subject. A psychology graduate, she spent many years in the Civil Service before becoming a full-time writer. She describes libraries and archives as her 'natural habitat'. 'Chloroform', The Quest for Oblivion (Sutton August 2003) was her first book. Her 'Essex Murders' was published in May 2004.
