About the author

A E DYSON has a longstanding knowledge and appreciation of the work of Gunn, Hughes and Thomas and this selection of criticism also includes original contributions by him on all three poets. As general editor of the Casebook series and former co-editor of the Critical Quarterly he is well-qualified to provide an authoritative and thought provoking introduction to their poetry. A E Dyson is an Honorary Fellow of the University of East Anglia.
