A ogni modo, se nel mio corso - io non posso insegnare se non ciò di cui son persuaso, ero disposto a non risollevare per ora per iscritto tali quistioni dinanzi ad un' pubblico più largo. Se non che l'avere il mio maestro fatto di pubblica ra gione la sua vecchia idea sulla massima Nemo pro parte testa tus ecc., conforta me a riprodurre su questo punto, con qualche sviluppo, le mie lezioni. IO spero che svolgimenti e atteggia menti alquanto diversi non possano che giovare a mettere in luce più completa e favorevole quelle idee; e spero che questi svolgimenti e atteggiamenti nuovi anche valgano ad eliminare talune preoccupazioni nascenti dal diritto comparato.
