About the author

Katie Haworth is an editor and writer originally from New Zealand, where she was a Commissioning Editor at Penguin Books. She is the author of several picture books, including Petunia Paris's Parrot and Emma Jane's Aeroplane. She now works as Publisher of Fiction and Picture Books at Oxford University Press.Melissa Castrillón is a freelance illustrator living in Cambridge, England. She grew up in a small town outside London and moved to Cambridge in 2006 to study illustration. In 2009 she gained a first class honours degree in illustration and in 2014 she completed her masters in Children's Book illustration, both from the Cambridge school of art. With a particular passion for print, pattern and punchy colour combos, Melissa's work depicts a colourful and abundent world of plants, animals and tiny hidden details which can explored time and time again.
