Il semble pourtant que, telle qu'elle est, elle peut servir déjà beaucoup pour bien établir les principes sur lesquels repose cette théorie, et que, des laits observés et analysés par elle, il est possible de tirer au moins les premiers éléments d'une science de la musique. C'est le travail que je me suis proposé dans ces Études.
