Excerpt from Viaje de un Español por el Levante en 1827
Aunque parece que deberia guardar silencio con respecto a Gibraltar por lo conocida y visita da que es de tantas jantes esta plaza, habiendo dado aquí principio mis observaciones y aconteci mientos, y notando por otra parte varios errores en las relaciones verbales que suyas corren, diré lo que advertí y me pasó para ilustracion y daengaño de los que la primera vez dirijan a ella sus pasos.
