The usage of banking services has increased very much nowadays all around the world. People are able to understand the banking services, they know how, when and what services to use. Still, many people do not know much about the Islamic Banking System, how it works and why it differs from the conventional banking system. The current global financial crisis has made people think of the improper functioning of the western conventional banks, and therefore has turned the attention of many people to the Islamic banking system. The fear of interest rate practices, the imposition of all the risk to the borrower, which are not applicable in the Islamic banking system has shed light on the later one as a better choice to invest or borrow from.
