About the author

Aleksandra Maria Rogowska is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy at Politechnika Opolska, Poland. Her research centres on synaesthesia but also includes the psychology of sport, art and addiction. Her work focuses on developmental paths for young adults, in particular undergraduate students.

Summary

Whereas most people understand 'a warm colour' as a metaphor, synaesthetes really experience the joining sensations. What is common to all of us and what is unique to synaesthetes? Are we all synaesthetes to some degree? This book explores the relationships between synaesthesia and other dimensions of individual differences.
