Before then she was Senior Lecturer in School of Applied Computing, Swansea Metropolitan University, UK. She holds a PhD and MSc in Electronic Systems Engineering from University of Essex, UK, and a BEng in Computer Information and Network Systems from North China Electrical Power University, Beijing, China. Her research interests include digital media, and mobile computing.
