About the author










Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a prolific writer of plays, novels, and poems. He is best known for his fairy tales, including "The Little Mermaid," "The Princess and the Pea," and "The Emperor's New Clothes."

David Warner received his PhD in theatre and film from Brigham Young University and has worked with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for more than a decade.

Award-winning artist Greg Newbold has illustrated a dozen books for children including If Picasso Painted a Snowman and The Touch of the Master's Hand.
