Informationen zum Autor George Weissinger, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Queensborough Community College, City University of New York. Professor Weissinger earned his doctorate in sociology from New York University, Graduate School of Arts and Science, and was a former criminal investigator with the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service. He also served as a Sr. US Parole Officer supervising organized crime offenders in the Eastern District of New York. After retiring from federal service, he also worked as a special investigator and independent contractor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Background Investigations Unit.
