About the author
Based in France for the last 14 years, J C Jeremy Hobson nowadays lives in Hampshire. A professional freelance writer, author and journalist for almost two decades, he has, nevertheless, written books and articles for far longer. His first published article appeared in 1976, and his first book ten years later. Jeremy's subject matter is generally rural-based and, over the years, he has written of field-sports; farming; smallholding; chicken-keeping; working dogs, and his experience of living in France.
