Quatre localités ont fourni des Mousses: l'île Wincke et la baie de Biscoe (ile Anvers) à l'extrémité occidentale du détroit de Gerlache, et les îles Booth - Wandel et Hovgaard, situées au sud du même détroit, à l'ouest de la Terre de Danco, dont elles sont séparées par l'étroit chenal de Lemaire. Ces localités sont comprises entre 64° 41' et 65° 05' latitude sud, 63° 08' et 64° 05' longitude ouest.
