Dr. Alba I.C. Popescu's "Geopolitical Kaleidoscope" comprises a set of very interesting geopolitical analysis concerning some of the most actual international topics. The first subject regarding Chinese strategy aiming to take over maritime chokepoints' and global shores' control, is followed by other analysis about the Russian Federation's geo-strategy in the Black Sea region, the on-going hybrid war in Ukraine and Europe, Russia's strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa and the African illegal migration routes in Europe. The book ends with an analysis dedicated to the importance of African rare earth metals' control for the stability of the current world order. Questions like: "Which are the main maritime straits covered by the Chinese strategy and which are the geostrategic implications of this approach? Which are Russian Federation's current geostrategic directions and tactics in the Black Sea region?" as well as "Which are the African illegal migration routes? Who controls them? Why rare earth metals are so important for the current world order?", found challenging and complex answers in Dr. Popescu's book. Enjoy your reading!
