The Fractals and Chaos theory is actually a modern mathematical theory included in the dynamical systems theory. The book is also structured in two parts entitled: Fractals and Chaos. The book is an accessible modern introduction in the dynamical systems theory. We introduced a definition of fractals based on the uniform convergence of the function sequences and the fractional attractors are defined with the aid of power series. Numerous examples are given in MAPLE, MATHEMATICA. Some programs was inspired from the Mapllesoft and Wolffram web pages.

About the author










Constantin Milici was a researcher at the Mathematics Institute of the Romanian Academy of sciences, and lecturer at the Department of Mathematics, Polytechnical University of Timisoara, between 1975 and 2009. Research in the mathematical logic, functional equations, computer assisted mathematics, fractional calculus and applications.
