This book has been written in a bid to address gaps in research on Motivation Factors of different health carders. Many Sub Saharan countries have staggering health systems that no solution has so far been found productive. Health Workers have developed performance lethargy with episodes of burn outs, late reporting, early departures, total absenteeism from work or what has become known as "presenteeism" - showing up at work stations and doing little or no work at all. Policy makers in Government and alike, have tried to address this and many other chronically systemic problems. However, efforts are few drops in a bucket of challenges. Scarce resources are spent on boosting moral and motivation in health facilities yet the results are not truly representative. It was therefore my efforts to determine what strategic factors would motivate these different health care workers in order to have a more efficient and effective health care delivery system to improve on quality and production. It is through then that we will see a fall in morbidity and mortality, an improvement in disease indicators in developing countries. Written for researchers, students and health care practitioners.
