Cet ouvrage de Morton est d'une extrême rareté, je l'ai cherché chez tous les libraires du monde et je ne l'ai pas pu avoir. En suite j'ai fait des recherches chez les principales bibliothèques d'europe: Paris, Berlin, Wien, Munich, Heidelberg, Naples, Bologne etc. De cette façon j'ai pu constater qu'en Europe il n'existe nulle part, hormis que dans le cabinet géologique de la Sorbonne. Les règlements de Cet institut empêchent d'envoyer les livres au dehors en commination, même a Paris. Alors j' ai recours à mon ami le Prof. Stevenson de l' Université de New - York qui m' envoya sa propre copie d'ailleuoe celle - ci renferme des documents manuscrits d'une première importance.
