In the past decades, an interest has arisen in developing TiO2 related science and technology. Curcumin has also aroused numerous attentions during the last few years. Curcumin shows positive results in most drug discovery assays and its interaction with TiO2 nanoparticles is of great importance in the design of drug delivery and biosensor devices. It has been demonstrated that the metal oxide based nanoparticles such as TiO2 have strong mutual interaction with curcumin molecules in the nature. These insights would suggest an efficient sensor device to help in the detection of curcumin molecules in the biological systems.
