Une députation de la Societe des jacobins se présente au Conseil municipal accompagnant des membres du Comité Révolutionnaire de la section Riard, qui a arrêté le projet d'élever un arbre de la liberté àla place devant le temple de la Raison, la décade qui suivra la fête de cette nouvelle divinité des Français régénérés, projet envoyé et appuyé auprès du Conseil par ladite société.
