Synthesis of pyrimidine derivatives and their pharmacological uses

Pyrimidine derivatives, undoubtedly have been of huge interest for the chemists and biologists ascribed to their various properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti-HIV, anti-cancer, anti-malarial and many others. Present book entertains a relative new approach for the synthesis of Pyrimidine derivatives in a much less time, using the modified Biginelli reaction. The derivatives thus synthesized are employed for the their pharmacological activities.

About the author

Author perused her PhD in the organic chemistry and currently working as an assistant professor at G.S.S.D.G.S. Khalsa College, Patiala. She has number of research publication of national repute and research projects (completed/ongoing) funded by Agencies of Indian Government.
