Per buona ventura fra i nostri vetri colorati ne trovai uno rosso il quale, senza indebolire sensibilmente la luce delle protuberanze, indeboliva lo splendore del campo in modo, da renderlo tollerabile all'occhio anche allar gando la fessura sino a più di l', larghezza sufficiente per comprendere la mag gior parte delle immagini delle protuberanze stesse.
