Excerpt from The Holy Bible, According to the Authorized Version (A. D. 1611), Vol. 3: With an Explanatory and Critical Commentary and a Revision of the Translation, by Bishops and Other Clergy of the Anglican Church; New Testament, Romans to Philemon

The passages which contain definite historical statements indicating the time and place at which the Epistle was written are all contained in the last two chapters, xv. 25 - 31 xvi. I, 2, 21, 23.

But the time and place of writing can also be inferred with great probability from indirect evidence contained in I. 10, I I, 13.
