The book with the title The Cultural in Speech Presentation of Using Ethnic: The Representation Study of Banyuwangi Folk Songs presents the results of a study on the cultural behavior of ethnic groups. The study is based on the cultural behavior of cultural discourse in the form of narrative folk songs as the song is seen as a product of the culture of the community owner. The study results reveal the worldview and way of acts related to culture in their everyday lives. By understanding this book, readers will gain insight into the theoretical and practical cultural studies. Theoretical insights developed in this book with regard to speech act theory associated with culture texts. Practical insights presented in this book form a model of discourse analysis study on the text of the speech track. In these studies focused on the study said in a speech presenting the song.
About the author
I am Prof. Dr. Imam Suyitno. I am a Lecturer at Indonesian Department State University of Malang, Indonesia. Some subject matters I teach are Indonesian for foreign students, cultural studies, Indonesian for special purposes, research methodology, language planning. I had published some of books about language learning and scientific writing.
