In this study 51 aquaporins from the rubber tree genenome were identified and then some PIP aquaporins were proved to be closely associated with latex dilution, latex yield and Ethrel stimulation. Meanwhile, A phloem turgor pressure probe enable measuring the real-time variation of rubber tree phloem turgor were developed. It was found that the phloem turgor pressure of rubber trees was an indicator for latex yield and tapping system optimization.
