The book is considered as a survey of some secondary metabolites present in Viola odorata L., collected from plant nursery in Baghdad between April and July, followed by the fractionation and isolation of Stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol.The biological study demonstrated the effect of the Stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol found in Viola odorata L. as antioxidant and antibacterial.... Extraction of Stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol as a crude extract from each part of the plant roots, leaves, flowers and seeds using (Petroleum ether and Methanol) to a qualitative and quantitative estimation of Stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol in each part of the plant by using TLC, HPLC and CC.

She worked in identifying and isolating bacteria, she participated in several projects and she has a master degree in biological science - medicinal plant\College of Science for Women-Baghdad University.
