About the author

Susan Robinson is a criminologist, lecturer and researcher with the Charles Sturt University, Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security in Canberra.

Tracy Cussen is a researcher and criminal justice professional who previously held positions as a correctional officer, probation and parole officer and senior policy officer in adult corrections and youth justice in Australia and Canada.
