Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) contamination is a great global concern due to their negative effects on human health and environmental consequences, such as toxic, mutagenic, carcinogenic, teratogenic and hepatotoxic effects. The sollution to PAHs pollution is to convey the message of environmental pollution situation to the people. Therefore, the PAHs sources, pathways, distributions and fate in the environment and ecosystems are important to be monitored and documented.

About the author










The author earned Bachelor of Marine Biology at Guilan University, Iran in 2002. He attended the Islamic Azad University, Iran to complete Master of Marine and Ocean Science. He received his PhD in Environmental Sciences from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2015. He was awarded postdoctoral fellowship by Iran¿s National Elites Foundation in 2016.
