Labour Welfare is a broad term. It aims at helping the workers to have satisfaction and development of their social, economical, psycho-logical and mental aspects. On the whole it enable the workers to develop the quality of work life. Those workers who are well satisfied with the programs of labour welfare of company. They don't feel only satisfaction in their personal & family matters but they also feel satisfied with employees and factory, this efficiency is also improved. All these elements capable them to contribute their best for increasing productivity and achieving the objectives of industry. This project focuses all aspects of labour welfare acts or facilities at sugar mills at U.P., India. This presents the real scenario of labours under the industrial setup. This will clear the major problematic phases of labours in a large sugar mills.
About the author
Mr. Puneet Kumar Ojha did his Masters in Social Work from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India and he has been awarded B.H.U. Gold medal for securing First position at MA Social Work Examination. At present he is pursuing PhD from prestigious D.S.S.W., University of Delhi,New Delhi and his working area is Malnutrition and Public health issue.
