Enhancement of FRT Capability and Power Quality of the WES using CPD

Wind energy is one of the prime renewable energies that is gaining attention as an alternative source all over the world. Hence,this work deals with enhancement of Fault Ride through Capability and Power Quality Improvement of fixed speed Wind Energy System Using Custom Power Devices like Dynamic Voltage Restorer , STAtic Compensator and Unified Power Quality Conditioner using conventional technique and intelligent techniques.

About the author

Ashok Kumar Balasubramanian was born in Tamilnadu, India. He received his B.E in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering and M.E in Applied Electronics in 2003 and 2006 respectively.He has completed his P.hD in 2016. His research interests are renewable energy. He has published 18 papers in journals and conferences.
