Im synthetischen Urteil-wird der voraus ge gebene Begriff um ein neues, noch nicht in ihm enthaltenes Merkmal erweitert; im analytischen Urteil wird ein in ihm schon enthaltenes Merk mal herausgehoben. Nach dieser Auffassung wäre fast eher die synthetische Geometrie als durch analytisches Verfahren aufgebaut zu be trachten und umgekehrt die analytische Geo metrie durch synthetisches.
