Raised in Wisconsin Jean Larson now resides in Minnesota. She is a mother, grandmother, writer, poet, teacher, former missionary wife, volunteer, storyteller and public speaker.After spending nearly 20 years teaching with her husband on the island of Madagascar and raising her four children, she worked on grants from the National Institutes of Health. (NIH) at the university of Minnesota. Jean was also a business. Coordinator for the successful Steger International Polar Expedition to study the North pole in 1986. Jean was coordinator for a national study of the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm's at the VAMC. She retired to be with her husband and And continued on their journey with Parkinson's.Today she spends her skills and time and church activities and volunteering, writing, speaking, and fundraising for Parkinson's causes.You can contact Jean at hopeforthejourney@gmail.com.
