About the author

Caroline Lüderssen studied English and Italian Literature and Musicology. A staff member at Frankfurt University, she also teaches at the Universities of Mannheim and Lüneburg, both in Germany. She is President of the German- Italian Association in Frankfurt and Editor-in-chief of Italienisch, the academic journal of Italian Language and Literature, published by Narr, Tübingen, Germany.
