Opposition political party has not been given much attention in academic research and even in the political system; the abhorrence for opposition political party has virtually become a culture in African political setting. This fear of belonging to opposition political party is nothing but ignorance on the part of our politicians and even the citizens who have not realized that, opposition political party is a government in the waiting and that its presence guarantees stability and the rule of the game in democratic setting.
