About the author

Derek Van Gieson is a writer, artist, and musician whose work has appeared in the New Yorker, the New York Times, the Fantagraphics anthology Mome, and Eel Mansions, his debut graphic novel, which was published by Uncivilized Press in 2015. He currently lives in Minneapolis.
