About the author
David Cousens is an award-winning illustrator. He blends a mixture of Eastern and Western influences to create a stylized world of illustration that’s dynamic, cinematic, sometimes insane (in the best way), often cheeky and positively filled with colour. David has written books teaching digital art and provided illustrations for advertising, branding, concept art, editorial, exhibitions, education, publishing, video games and television.Sharmaine Kwan is an artist from Hong Kong who works in a range of areas including painting, illustration, contemporary art, video and design. Sharmaine has received numerous awards from international art competitions and her work has been shown in exhibitions worldwide in different cities such as London, Moscow, Athens, Seoul and Beijing.Tom Hovey is a Welsh illustrator based in Bristol. Tom’s multi-disciplinary approach has seen him apply his unique style across a broad spectrum of genres including TV graphics, food illustration, editorial, book illustration, storyboarding, animation, apparel design and murals. Tom is best known for his acclaimed food illustration work. He has produced the illustrated graphics for BBC One’s The Great British Bake Off since its inception in 2010, and his signature style has been a key element in the show’s success.
