Alice Gardner is a psychologist with over 20 years of experience in couples counseling and individual psychotherapy.
Born in Colorado, she moved to Chicago to complete her studies in psychology; Alice's interest in the relationships between couples began when she worked as a volunteer counselor while still at university.

Alice lives in Northern California with her husband, their two children, and a Labrador.

Summary

This history was published in 1921 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of Newnham College, Cambridge. The mid-nineteenth-century idea of female education led to the small beginning of what became Newnham in 1871. Gardner then takes the story up to 1914 (with an epilogue on the war years).
